RCC Facilitated Visioning Discussions

Your Church Council thinks it’s time for all of us to think big.

The council has engaged Jill White, the Lead Regional Mission Interpreter for the United Church of Christ Church Building & Loan Fund, to lead us in that “visioning” discussion.

This is a chance for everyone to be heard. Through a series of guided discussions, we will share ideas for future mission and ministry. All ideas will be welcome. Now is the time for thinking outside of the box and being creative!

Mark your calendars to attend Zoom meetings on the following dates.
First Session: Choose ONE of these to attend. We will all share big ideas in response to a series of visioning questions, with the goal of developing mission priorities and ministry areas.

Wednesday, Aug. 31, 5 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 10 9 a.m.

Second Session: Choose ONE of these to attend. At these meetings, we will don an analysis of what we learned from the first two sessions and we’ll develop mission priorities. Homework will be assigned on Sept. 21 for discussion on Sept. 28.

FINAL SESSION This is the last session, and all who have participated in the earlier sessions should attend. It will be a time to sum up a we have learned, establishing a context for both an internal and external vision.
