Howl-O-Ween Concert

The sanctuary was full last year as Diana Beterbide and friends presented a Halloween concert to benefit Rogue Detection Team. Rogue Detection Team trains shelter dogs to help in environmental research. The concert is Wednesday, October 30 at 7 p.m. In addition to your family and friends, all well-behaved dogs are welcomed and encouraged to attend.

The concert features Diana Beterbide, the Riverside Chancel Choir, and a variety of local musicians. This year, Diana needs enthusiastic young people to join with the choir when they present a song called “Spooky Scary Skeletons.” No singing is necessary, but the ability to make spooky, scary, ghoulish sounds in 2 places of the song are a definite requirement. “All You Need Is Love” | Fall Fundraising Event

Riverside’s Annual Fundraiser “All You Need Is Love” is an event not to be missed. The event will be held at Riverside Community Church on Saturday, October 19 from 4 – 8 PM. An hour-long music set by jazz pianist, Tim Mayer will kick the evening off while ticket holders enjoy a “Lennon Drop” our signature cocktail for the event (a nonalcoholic option is also available) and preview silent & live auction items tailored around “Food, Family & Fun”.

Chef Kathy Watson and RCC’s talented kitchen team will serve up an exquisite Indian cuisine followed by a memorable and competitive dessert auction, with silent & live auctions following.

Families with young children have the option to engage their children in an evening out too in downtown Hood River. Children will be chaperoned by Riverside’s Youth Coordinator, Katie Cook, and parent volunteers, enjoying pizza and a trip to G. Willikers Toy Store. Event tickets for adults are available via the Event website or by contacting office@riversideucc.com. Cost is $60 per person and includes a signature cocktail and/or non alcoholic beverage during cocktail hour, a full course meal and wine. Tables of 8 are also available, while they last, for $450. Advent Concert Series | Friday at Noon in December

Dec 15 | Tim Mayer & Friends Tim and his friends will gather during the Yuletide to perform an eclectic mix of holiday standards and originals. Dec 22 – RCC Chancel Choir, directed by Diana Beterbide | Kristen Warnock, guitarist As Riverside’s pianist and organist, Diana Beterbide also directs Riverside’s chancel choir. This year, she will be joined by Riverside’s newly appointed Music Minister, Kristen Warnock, to collaborate on a program mixed with traditional and folk music. Come join the fun and sing a long!

That’s Amore!

RCC’s annual fall fundraising event “That’s Amore!” Sat, Sept 30th 4:30 – 9:00 PM in the majestic Riverview Room. Dinner tickets include a pre-function with a signature “bellini” (think Prosecco) cocktail, live music by Andrea Algieri and view of live and silent auction items.
