We Are Immigrants – Somos Inmigrantes Campaign

This is a very uncertain time for immigrants in the United States. Like the Japanese-Americans who once thrived in our communities, many of our neighbors are, once again, living in fear.

The We are Immigrants – Somos Inmigrantes campaign recognizes that, with the exception of Native Americans, we are all immigrants, and we proclaim our commitment to defend the dignity, safety and well-being of all of our hardworking, law-abiding neighbors.

Our Inspiration

Over 30 years ago, in Billings, Montana, a Jewish family displayed a menorah in their window. A brick was thrown through that window. Within a short time, thousands of homes, churches, and businesses displayed menorahs in their windows in an act of solidarity.

Our Goal

Our goal is to help our immigrant neighbors feel supported. Read the full campaign details here.

In the News

On May 24, 2025, ~40 people gathered with the Yasui family to honor immigrants and share stories of resilience, hope, and belonging. Read the article from Columbia Gorge News here.
