Allyship 101: No Stupid Questions
It’s a Night with No Stupid Questions
Curious about the ever-expanding alphabet (LGBTQIA2S+) that describes the queer community? Feel shy about asking a sensitive question? Concerned about the safety of people in your life with diverse
identities? Just want to know more? This is the event for you, and is recommended by the Riverside Open and Affirming Implementation Team.
Volunteers with the Hood River Latino Network will lead the discussion ahead of June Pride Month in the Gorge. Allyship 101: No Stupid Questions will be Wednesday, May 28 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Riverview Room at Riverside. Registration is online via Eventbrite, and is free.
This important panel style discussion will focus on the characteristics of good allyship and answer questions from the audience. Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of queer allyship and why it is important.
