DESCRIPTION:The third Sunday of each month is plastic recycling at Riverside and time to gather all those clean and dry plastic containers that aren’t accepted in our regular curbside recycling program.\nThat’s containers that have a number, 1 through 5, on the bottom in a triangle.\nPlease do not just drop off your bags in the back. Write your name on your bags, and let the volunteers look through your plastic loot. They will help you know what’s acceptable and what will get rejected at Gorge Sustainability Project. Everything must be really clean and dry!\nIf you can make a small donation, too, that’s great, and will keep our program going, since it costs us $60 a month to drop off at Gorge Sustainability Project. Donate via Riverside’s online giving ( https://rcchr.breezechms.com/give/online ). Select “Other” and note plastic recycling in the comments.\n\n
